TAU-XR Crash Cushion

The TAU-XR is a crash cushion that complies with MASH TL3 standards, specifically engineered to protect the exposed ends of concrete barriers and other roadside hazards. It’s classified as a Low Maintenance Crash Cushion, allowing for quick repairs and reuse of components after impacts, making it perfect for busy roads and hazardous areas.

The crushable aluminium tubes inside the TAU-XR absorb kinetic energy during head-on collisions, while the side panels effectively redirect vehicles during side impacts.

Fully re-directive and non-gating, the TAU-XR guarantees safe vehicle containment and controlled deceleration. It can be anchored directly to concrete or asphalt surfaces and is suitable for both permanent and temporary work zone setups.
