Lo-Ro Plastic Barrier
Lo-Ro Plastic Barrier
The Lo-Ro is a water-filled plastic safety barrier system, perfect for the low-speed conditions typically found on local roads. Each module is reinforced with three internal galvanised steel cables and interlocking knuckles, enhancing the system’s strength and minimising movement during low-speed vehicle impacts.
Its bright and highly visible design not only guides drivers safely but also clearly marks the intended travel path. Lo-Ro can be quickly deployed for emergency road closures, lane diversions, or temporary detours.

Proven Performance on Major Infrastructure Projects
Our water-filled barriers have been used on some of Australia’s biggest infrastructure projects for safety, strength, and ease of use.
For the WestConnex Stage 3B Rozelle Interchange, the CPBJH Joint Venture chose the Lo-Ro Water Fillable Barrier for site protection in a busy urban environment. Its compact, lightweight design, MASH TL-1 and TL-2 compliance, and no-anchor setup made it quick to install and relocate.
With a low deflection rating (3.6 m) and durable plastic road barrier construction, it was safe and stable while maintaining driver visibility and site efficiency.
