QUASH™ Crash Cushion

QUASH™ Crash Cushion

The QUASH™ Crash Cushion System is a high-performance, non-redirective, gating crash cushion specifically designed to protect the exposed end of the TALL42™ movable concrete barrier. Developed by Moovop Inc. in Canada, it has successfully passed full-scale crash tests to meet MASH Test Level 3 standards.

Built for quick deployment and easy installation, the QUASH™ doesn’t need to be anchored to the road surface. Its straightforward design includes a nose piece, water-filled absorption cells, and an end transition that connects to the downstream TALL42™ barrier, all held together with connecting pins.

The preassembled absorption cells help lessen the impact severity during head-on collisions and come with dual lifting points, making them easy to handle whether they’re empty or filled. A self-centring J-slot hinge ensures the system stays aligned with the TALL42™ barrier as it moves through the transfer machine.
