Project Overview
Frasers Property is on the move, expanding its Fairwater development in the western part of Sydney, with new homes popping up close to the existing residential area. With more than 800 residents already calling this place home, it was crucial to keep a safe distance between the construction zone and the pedestrian pathways.
As the work progressed on a new section right next to busy roads and footpaths, ensuring traffic safety around the site office became a major focus. Workzone Solutions stepped in to provide a quick and effective solution to enhance on-site safety.
Our Solution
Workzone Solutions has provided 30 Trafix 2000 water-filled barriers for the Fairwater site office. These barriers were selected for their straightforward design, reliability, and effectiveness in busy areas like parking lots and residential construction sites.
Weighing just 20 kg when empty, these lightweight barriers are a breeze to move around. Once filled, they tip the scales at a solid 327 kg, ensuring they stay put even if a vehicle makes minor contact. This gives both workers and pedestrians peace of mind.
Constructed from UV-stabilised polyethylene and designed with rounded corners for safer handling, each barrier comes with built-in carry handles and a clever interlocking pin and hole system molded right into the structure. This thoughtful design allows for quick and easy deployment without any loose parts.
